Fox News published the full text of a letter from U.S. First Lady Melania Trump to Russian leader Vladimir Putin , urging the protection of children . According to media reports, the letter was delivered to Putin personally by President Donald Trump during a meeting in Alaska.

Melania Trump's Letter to Putin: "You Will Serve All of Humanity"

"Dear Mr. President Putin, Every child has the same quiet dreams in their hearts, whether they were born in a simple village or in a beautiful city center. They dream of love, opportunity, and safety from danger, " the US First Lady began her letter to Putin with these words.

In it, Melania Trump advocated for "creating a world full of dignity for all—so that everyone can wake up in peace, with their future protected." She also noted, among other things, that "the descendants of every generation begin life in purity—an innocence that transcends geography, government, and ideology."

Earlier on Saturday, Reuters reported that the US president's wife wrote a letter to Putin in which she raised the situation of Ukrainian children illegally abducted to Russia .

According to Fox News, Putin read the letter Trump handed him immediately after receiving it . The station referred to the first lady's writing as a "letter of peace."
