Green Viper Under Electricity: Here's a Classic Porsche 911 with a New Electric Heart

An iconic Porsche model from the 90s in exclusive Viper Green has been given a second life thanks to the British Everrati – and without the risk of losing its original motoring soul. Here is electrification that not only does not hurt, but makes the heart beat faster.
First, let me reassure the purists: this electric transplant can be reversed! The beneficiary of the new organs in this case is a Porsche 911, and the transplant surgeon is British Everrati.
Everrati is a workshop that converts classic cars (not only sports cars) with a combustion engine into electric restomods. Their latest creation is a Porsche 911 from the 964 generation in a furious Viper Green paint, covering a carbon wide-body body, offered by the British in all models from the Signature line.
The paint itself was first shown in 1972 on the body of the 911 Carrera RS 2.7. After many years, Viper Green was officially offered and since 2010 is available on special order from the PTS – Paint To Sample palette.

The air-cooled engine that fans of the Stuttgart brand sigh over has been replaced with an electric drive system with a capacity of 62 kWh . Power hovers around 500 horsepower, and acceleration from zero to 100 takes less than four seconds.
During braking, you can recover some energy and potentially increase the distance. The distance, which looks good on paper (321 km), will certainly not be helped by the sporty nature of the car, which provokes dynamic driving.
Everrati engineers, wanting to save their customers time spent at the charger, installed an integrated CCS charging system, enabling fast charging with both direct current and alternating current.

And what does the process of converting a Porsche 911 into an electric restomod look like? First, you need to think about a donor – a car from 1991–1994. You can deliver it yourself, or you can ask the specialists at Everrati to help you find a car. You can choose a classic, cabriolet or targa body, in narrow-body or wide-body versions. The only thing you need to take care of is no damage to the structure. The rest is a matter of stretching, hammering and fitting new components to the classic body.

Every Porsche is renowned for its driving characteristics and impeccable balance in corners. New components are designed and assembled to be as close as possible to the original's weight distribution. Everrati draws heavily from the original in the interior – remaining faithful to the original design wherever possible. The clocks have an iconic layout, but are adapted to modern functions. The seats also have an original design, and the steering wheel has a retro racing pedigree.

If you need something a little more practical than a Porsche 911, you can have the Oxfordshire-based garage build you a restomod based on a Series II Land Rover , or for something a little more racy, a Ford GT40, strikingly similar to the LeMans-winning legend.
Those who want an authentic, purist experience can always transplant back the original engine, which is returned to the customer during the first operation…
