A resident of St. Petersburg gave scammers two million rubles, which she received for the death of her father during a special military operation (SVO). Fontanka learned about this.
According to the publication, the 19-year-old Russian woman contacted the police the day before. She said that some people, who introduced themselves as employees of Roskomnadzor and the Central Bank, had deceived her into giving her money.
The girl explained to the detectives that the cash was taken from her by a delivery courier with a small beard. An investigation was launched into the incident.
Earlier it was reported that fraudsters issued microloans to a participant in a special operation from Volgograd while he was at the front.
The Russian has already gone to court to have the contract concluded in his name declared invalid.
