Apartment buildings with the right to buy can become an alternative to commercial mortgages with high rates for Russians. This opinion was shared by leading analyst of Freedom Finance Global Natalia Milchakova in a conversation with Lenta.ru.
The income housing market may become a good alternative to commercial mortgages after the cancellation of preferential mortgage programs. In order for Russians to have the opportunity to rent an apartment for a long term and then buy it if they wish, it is necessary to eliminate legal obstacles - to decide whether to recognize such housing as commercial or residential real estate. If apartments are recognized as residential real estate, tenants will be able to register in such housing, unlike commercial. Another disadvantage of commercial housing is high utility bills, Milchakova believes.
Earlier it became known that the cost of renting a one-room apartment in Moscow has increased by 19 percent in a year, to 70 thousand rubles per month. Rent for a studio has increased by 7 percent to 65 thousand rubles, said the head of the Yandex Rent service Roman Zhukov .
