Novgorodians "voted with their rubles" for the best film of June

The most popular film of June in the Novgorod region was the film "To the Village for Grandfather" starring Yuri Stoyanov and Ingrid Olerinskaya. In the Novgorod region cinemas, this film was seen by 7.7 thousand people, the box office receipts amounted to 2 million rubles. The comedy tells about the forced vacation in the village of a 10-year-old city computer genius.
The second place was taken by the film "Artek. Through the Centuries" with comedian Mikhail Galustyan, it was watched by 2.9 thousand viewers.
Let us add that, according to the Kinopoisk website, if in the “pre-COVID” 2019, Russian cinemas were visited by a total of 220 million viewers, then last year, in 2024, their number was about 125 million.
