The Armed Forces of Ukraine deployed an unmanned battalion in the Kherson direction

The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have deployed seven brigades and an unmanned strike aviation battalion in the Kherson direction. Such data was cited by a TASS source in the Russian security agencies.

“The 426th unmanned strike aviation battalion, the 34th separate coastal defense brigade, the 39th separate coastal defense brigade, the 40th separate coastal defense brigade, the 121st, 122nd, 123rd territorial defense brigades, the 153rd separate mechanized brigade,” the agency’s source listed the Ukrainian units participating in the battles on this section of the front.

According to him, in the Kherson region, the Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers “went into deep defense,” but at the same time continued shelling civilian infrastructure facilities.

Earlier, the Kherson region allowed for the withdrawal of the Ukrainian Armed Forces from the territories controlled by Ukraine. According to the region's governor , Volodymyr Saldo , this is possible if there is a corresponding political and military decision.
