Sergei Sobyanin spoke about the supply of products to Moscow under official contracts

Offsets imply the creation or modernization of production facilities in Moscow at the expense of investors. In exchange, the capital provides entrepreneurs with guaranteed orders, purchasing their products. Mayor Sergei Sobyanin revealed the details in his Telegram channel.

"The total volume of purchases under offset contracts will be more than 625 billion rubles. In total, more than eight thousand jobs will be created. Thanks to offsets, the capital already receives medicines, baby food, medical products and other strategically important products," the capital's mayor said.

Since 2017, the city has signed 29 offset contracts, nine of which are already delivering.

"Velpharm-M is implementing two offset contracts. Under the first contract, Moscow hospitals and clinics will be provided with 25 types of medicines. Under the second offset, Moscow medical institutions will receive another 52 types. These are medicines for the treatment of socially significant diseases," said Elena Sotskova, financial director of Velpharm Group.

The Moscow DIPP also reported plans to conclude offset contracts for the production of fast electric charging stations in the capital. Under the agreements, investors will set up the plant's operations in three years, and then service the electric car chargers for 10 years. At the same time, the city is guaranteed to purchase 3.6 thousand electric charging stations from businesses.
