2025 Legal Professions Entrance Exam (HMGS/2) date
The HMGS will be a mandatory exam for law school graduates and candidates who have studied abroad and received equivalency in Türkiye. It will also be a prerequisite for applicants for lawyer and notary internships, as well as those seeking to take the exams for judges and prosecutors.
Applications were accepted between August 13-20, 2025. The exam will be held simultaneously in 18 provinces across Turkey. Candidates must receive a minimum score of 70 to be considered successful. The exam will be conducted in a multiple-choice, test-based format, with a total of 100 questions. The assessment areas will include basic legal knowledge, legislation, and professional qualifications.
According to the official announcement, HMGS will continue to be the main stage for entering the legal profession in the coming years.
