- It has been learned that the gravestones of two PKK members located in the Birlik Village cemetery in the Lice district of Diyarbakır have been removed by the family due to the sensitivity of the process. Report by Ferit Aslan.
- Actors' manager Ayşe Barım, who has been imprisoned for 213 days, wrote in a letter from prison that her health has deteriorated. Barım stated that she has brain and heart problems, has recently lost 30 kilograms, and has fainted six times.
- The Public Officials Arbitration Board's decision to increase the salaries of 6.5 million public employees and retirees has been published in the Official Gazette. The decision sets an 11% + 7% increase for 2026, with a 5% raise to be implemented in the first half of 2027.
- The Forensic Medicine Institute released its report regarding the death of baby Kerem Muhammet Tokluoğlu in the Newborn Gang case. The report stated that Private Avcılar Hospital, the hospital owned by former Health Minister Mehmet Müezzinoğlu, was at fault.
- The Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality is reopening the Aram Tigran Conservatory, which was closed during the trusteeship period. Applications for the conservatory, which will offer Kurdish language education, will open on September 1st.
- Both the municipality and Syriac Metropolitan Melki Ürek denied social media claims that churches were being built in the Yunus Emre and Kayalık neighborhoods of Adıyaman. Metropolitan Ürek stated that they were waiting for the restoration of their own church, which was damaged in the earthquake, and that they had no involvement in the new construction.
- According to the Turkish Statistical Institute's Household Information Technology Usage Survey, the internet usage rate among individuals aged 16-74 reached 90.9 percent in 2025. The rate of citizens using e-government services was 76.1 percent, while the e-commerce rate rose to 55.7 percent.
- Fenerbahçe, who drew with Portuguese team Benfica in the first match, will take the field for the UEFA Champions League tonight at 22:00 Turkish time.
