A chain accident involving 2 buses and 1 truck occurred on the TEM highway.

One person was killed and 21 people were injured in an accident involving an excavation truck and two buses on the TEM Highway heading towards Edirne. All lanes were closed due to the accident, and traffic in the Edirne direction was halted. Police, firefighters, and paramedics were dispatched to the scene. Crews are working to clear the road, and traffic is being controlled in a single lane heading towards Edirne. Meanwhile, efforts to remove the vehicles involved in the accident are underway.

While Emrah Dağhan (31) lost his life in the accident, Halit Kök, Enes Kahraman, Tuncay Şat, Selçuk Emre Yılmaz, Yeter Nezihe Tunçel, Cihan Kıvanç, Furkan Aykaz, Yusuf Özyurt, Fatih Durmuş, Emirhan Çakar, Hidayet Yıldız, Mustafa Can Gür, Merve Kula, İlke Yılman, Selçuk Kula, Engin Kaplan, Abdullah Sancak, Bus Driver Muzaffer Karabektaş, Excavation Truck Driver Mustafa Acartekin were injured.
