Cooling points were established against hot weather in Beşiktaş

As the temperatures continue to rise across the country, Beşiktaş Municipality has created cooling points for citizens to cool off and rest. Free water and lemonade were distributed at stands set up in heavily used areas such as Ortaköy Square, Barbaros Square, Köyiçi Square and Levent Square.

Salim Bartınlı, who had the opportunity to cool off in the hot weather, thanked Beşiktaş Municipality for the service and said, "I would like to thank you very much for your interest, sensitivity and everyone who provided service. The same service was provided last year due to the hot weather. I am drinking two lemonades; one is welcome and the other is goodbye. Love and respect to everyone."

Cooling off by drinking water and lemonade in Levent Square, Özcan Çolak said, "The latest news even mentions asphalt melting. I really appreciate that sensitive municipality representatives like you are thinking of people and implementing such an application to cool down the public. The lemonade was excellent, you even thought of mint." The cooling points set up in Beşiktaş will continue to provide service between 11:00 and 15:00 every day until July 11.
