According to a report in Gerçek Haberci, the indictment allegedly examined Büyükerşen's actions during his tenure between 2012 and 2020. The prosecutor's office allegedly requested a lawsuit seeking punishment for two separate crimes following investigations into the period in question.

According to the allegation, the indictment was prepared for submission to the relevant court. It was alleged that the Education, Health and Scientific Research Studies Foundation (ESBAV), established in 1979, was being used for private gain, deviating from the principle of public benefit.

A TRUSTEE WAS APPOINTED

Former Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Yılmaz Büyükerşen and six other people on the board of directors of the Education, Health and Scientific Research Studies Foundation (ESBAV) were removed from their posts and a trustee was appointed.
