Three international agreements entered into force with Erdoğan's approval

Three international agreements signed by Turkey were published in the Official Gazette with the approval of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. According to the decision, the agreement signed between Turkey and the United Nations (UN) Secretariat concerning the UN Resident Coordinator's Office in Turkey and its personnel entered into force upon the decision "Approval of the Annexed Notes Exchanged Between the Republic of Turkey and the United Nations Secretariat Regarding the Implementation, with Necessary Amendments, for a Period of One Year of the Provisions of the Amended Standard Agreement for Technical Assistance between the Republic of Turkey and the United Nations and Certain Specialized Agencies, Dated 21 October 1965, Regarding the United Nations Resident Coordinator's Office in Turkey and its Personnel."
Meanwhile, amendments were made to the financing agreement for the "Multiannual Environment and Climate Change Action Programme" prepared for Turkey under the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA II). The decision, published in the Official Gazette, stated that the "Annexed Amendment Protocol Signed Between the Government of the Republic of Turkey and the European Commission through the Exchange of Letters Dated 27 May 2025 and 10 June 2025 on Amendments to the Financing Agreement for the Multiannual Environment and Climate Change Action Programme for Turkey Concluded under the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA II)" had been approved.
In addition, President Erdoğan approved the protocol that envisages changes to the financing agreement regarding the “Multiannual Employment, Education and Social Policies Action Programme” under IPA II and published it in the Official Gazette.
