Samsung has pulled the plug on some of its models: They will no longer receive updates
South Korean tech giant Samsung has announced its 2025 update plan, officially ending software support for three models. These devices will no longer receive new software updates.
The models that Samsung has retired are:
Galaxy Tab S7 FE
Galaxy F52 5G
Galaxy A22 5G
These devices were released in 2021 and completed approximately four years of support.
These models received regular software updates, twice a year, throughout the support period. Samsung's policy of discontinuing support after a certain period means users should no longer expect updates to the device's security and performance.
Experts remind that devices whose update support has ended may become more vulnerable to security risks, and recommend that users switch to new-generation models that are still under support.
