CHP municipality raises public bread prices by 34 percent

In the final session of the Adana Metropolitan Municipality Council in September, the price of public bread was increased by 34%. The price of a 200-gram loaf of bread produced at public bread factories was increased from 7.5 TL to 10 TL, and 210-gram whole-wheat and whole-wheat bread was increased to 12.5 TL. A previous draft had envisioned a price of 11 TL for a 200-gram loaf and 12.5 TL for whole-wheat and whole-wheat. Members of the People's Alliance found the price increase excessive and proposed an 8.5 or 9 TL increase, but CHP members rejected it by a majority vote. With the approval of the article, the new prices went into effect.
TOLL HIKE IN ANTALYA In the September continuation meeting of Antalya Metropolitan Municipality , public transportation, school bus and daycare fees were increased. According to the tariff, the shuttle fee for public schools is 2,700 TL for 0-3 km, 2,800 TL for 3-6 km, 2,900 TL for 6-9 km and 3,000 TL for 9-13 km. 21 TL will be added per km for distances over 13 km. For private schools, it has been determined as 3,800 TL for 0-3 km, 3,900 TL for 3-6 km, 4,000 TL for 6-9 km, 4,300 TL for 9-12 km and 4,500 TL for 12-15 km. The full public transportation fee is 35 TL, student 15 TL, discounted 33 TL, credit card 41 TL, disposable card 38 TL, and transfer 7.50 TL. Nursery fees in Kepez, Muratpaşa, Konyaaltı, Döşemealtı, and Aksu have been increased to 10,000 TL, and dormitory fees to 2,000 TL.
