'It's not necessary,' Sheinbaum said about presenting her first government report to Congress.

Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum said it's not necessary to appear before Congress on September 1st to deliver her first State of the Union address ; although she said she's already preparing her own report to the Mexican people.
"It's not necessary. We're going to prepare the report; we don't have a specific space yet. What is constitutional is to submit the report to Congress. The Secretary of the Interior will submit it , and we'll do it separately from our report, which we're already preparing," he said.
