Many Italian newspapers, including Repubblica and Stampa, ran a full-page paid advertisement for the “Setteottobre” association.

The text also accuses the media of being "vehicles of the ideology of violence and hatred" and thus of promoting terrorism. This is offensive to all of us and to our work, which is characterized by balance and professionalism, under difficult conditions. The thesis is even more offensive to journalism itself considering that to date, over 200 journalists have been killed by the IDF in the Gaza Strip.

Without forgetting that, despite appeals from various institutions, not just professional ones, the Israeli government does not allow the media to enter and do their work. Finally, we believe that publishers should allow the publication of messages consistent with our work: newspapers are not simply letterboxes, not even paid ones.
