General Director of Moscow CSKA Roman Babaev assessed the expenses of the capital's Spartak on new footballers in the winter transfer window. His words are quoted by Match TV .
He noted that he looks at his colleagues with white envy. "But I have one question: "Where is there any business logic here?"" Babayev said.
According to the general director of CSKA, it is very difficult to recoup the invested funds now. "The European Cups are absolutely excluded, and sales to Europe are so difficult that they are practically impossible," Babayev said.
In the current off-season, Spartak acquired three footballers: Russian goalkeeper Ilya Pomazun , Trinidad and Tobago striker Leva Garcia and Argentine winger Pablo Solari. According to the Transfermarkt portal, the red-and-whites spent 29.9 million euros.
