A house in Kastamonu Cide was reduced to ashes, and the donkey inside died

A fire that broke out in the Cide district of Kastamonu completely reduced a house in the village of Kovanören to ashes. The fire broke out in the house of Bekir and Kamil Durgut for an unknown reason.

As the flames grew rapidly and engulfed the entire house, the villagers who noticed the fire reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Upon the notification, Cide and Şenpazar fire brigade teams and water tenders from the Regional Forestry Directorate were dispatched to the scene.

As a result of the teams' long-term intervention, the fire was brought under control and extinguished. However, the house was completely burned and became unusable. A donkey inside also died during the fire.

An investigation was launched by the gendarmerie and fire brigade teams into the cause of the fire.
