They can't surround the CHP

The CHP Party Assembly convened under the chairmanship of CHP Leader Özgür Özel. The Assembly, convened under the shadow of the upcoming lawsuit seeking the cancellation of the CHP's 38th Ordinary Congress, set the schedule for the 39th Ordinary Congress.
Following the 38th Ordinary Congress , dubbed the "Convention of Change," the CHP has decided to hold a fourth congress. The congress's date has been set as November 28, 29, and 30. It has been reported that the congress will be held at the Ankara Arena. It has been reported that CHP Chairman Özgür Özel, who became the party's chairman at the Ordinary Congress held on November 4-5, 2023, is expected to be the sole candidate at the 39th Ordinary Congress. It has been reported that Özel will enter the congress with a shortlist.
JUDICIAL BLOCKADEThe AKP's judicial blockade has squeezed the CHP into the congress calendar. CHP officials emphasized that the government's goal is to provoke debate over the CHP, saying, "The congress annulment case is entirely political. Even if the CHP emerges stronger from each congress, the focus will still be on the CHP's congresses and conventions."
The CHP sent the final minutes of the extraordinary congresses held following the operations targeting the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality on March 19 and the subsequent trustee decision for the Istanbul Provincial Directorate to the Ankara 42nd Court of First Instance. CHP members stated that the 21st and 22nd extraordinary congresses left the case against the 38th Ordinary Congress without a case in mind, commenting, "If the rules of law are followed, the case is likely to be dismissed."
CHP members emphasized that the government has begun governing Türkiye in an "election economy" manner, saying, "If another unlawful decision is added to the list, it will lead to economic bankruptcy." Party sources emphasized that the CHP's corporate identity is more than just a nameplate, saying, "Even if a trustee is appointed to this party, its corporate identity cannot be destroyed. The voter support is behind the current administration."
The majority of the CHP members believed that the case, which had been publicly labeled an "absolute nullity case," would be postponed. The CHP officials' common view regarding the cases was that they were "cases that attempt to provoke debate within the CHP and obscure the public's true agenda."
CHP officials, commenting on the lawsuit to annul the 38th Ordinary Congress, stated that the course of the case in Ankara has reinforced the expectation that "no result will be detrimental to the CHP." CHP members argued that the Istanbul court's decision to dismiss the CHP Istanbul Provincial Executive was made under political pressure, adding, "There is no such lawsuit in Ankara."
CHP members stated that the CHP continues its fight on the ground, at headquarters, and in the Turkish Grand National Assembly. They shared the view, "The government has opened up the judiciary as a fourth front. The aim is to weaken the CHP's institutional power by dividing it. However, it has become clear that CHP cadres are fighting back."
