Twelve Coahuila health units will be rehabilitated, including the Torreón General Hospital.

The Coahuila State Health Services awarded a contract worth more than 15.8 million pesos to Grupo Constructor TOMU SA de CV for the maintenance and upkeep of 12 of its units, as well as the air conditioning maintenance of five healthcare facilities located in different regions.
Through National Public Tender SS-LPN-CA-E017-2025, the Director of Administration, María de Jesús Ramírez Hernández, announced the decision, which states that the company's financial proposal is sound and its price is within the authorized budget. The contract is for 13,991,930.66 pesos, including Value Added Tax (VAT).
Grupo Constructor was the only participating company in this tender, and the funding source was state-funded, from the ISN-FID-2025. The final decision was signed on Thursday, September 25th of this year.
According to the call for proposals, the services must be delivered within 45 business days of the issuance of the corresponding award, and must be carried out in accordance with the scheduled program submitted by the successful bidder.
The units that will undergo maintenance and upkeep are: Torreón General Hospital, Agujita Health Center; State Senior Center; Maternal and Child Hospital; Múzquiz Hospital; Saltillo Cancer Hospital; and Allende Hospital. Also undergoing maintenance are Cuatro Ciénegas Hospital; Monclova Hospital; Rosita Hospital; Saltillo Hospital; and "Dr. Salvador Chavarría" Hospital in Piedras Negras.
The work to be performed at these centers and hospitals varies according to the needs of each facility. However, actions considered include maintenance and relocation of electrical outlets, general maintenance of walls and floors, rehabilitation of ventilation and air conditioning systems, repair of rainwater leaks, as well as dredging of manholes and general sewer pipes, and repair of ceilings.
Likewise, we have refurbished doors and windows, closed and relocated plumbing outlets, relocated lighting fixtures, supplied and installed antibacterial curtains, renovated various areas, such as the Emergency Room, and replaced damaged flooring in operating rooms, among other things.
Regarding air conditioning maintenance, a contract was awarded to Grupo Constructor TOMU SA de CV, for the amount of 1,822,966.68 pesos.
This was an Invitation to At Least Three Persons procedure, number SS-AI3-CA-E016-2025; the following were invited: Grupo TOMU; JHR Ingeniería y Servicios, SA de CV; and Climas de Saltillo SA de CV.
The maintenance will be carried out at the Torreón Outpatient Clinic (Jumbo), the Matamoros Comprehensive Hospital, the Múzquiz Hospital, the Saltillo Cancer Hospital, and the Sabinas Hospital.
In this case, the service must be completed by November 30 of the current year.
