In Irkutsk City Hospital No. 8, a patient armed with a knife attacked doctors. This was reported by the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Irkutsk Region on its Telegram channel.
"A man armed with a knife attacked medical personnel and injured two women. The victims were hospitalized. The suspect was detained by police officers," the department reported.
A criminal case was opened on this fact under the article "Attempted murder of two or more persons". Investigators and forensic experts are working on the scene, the circumstances of the incident are being clarified. The suspect will be brought in for questioning in the near future.
